FEATURE and GIVEAWAY: Notorious Pleasures by Elizabeth Hoyt

Their lives were perfect . . .

Lady Hero Batten, the beautiful sister of the Duke of Wakefield, has everything a woman could want, including the perfect fiancé. True, the Marquis of Mandeville is a trifle dull and has no sense of humor, but that doesn't bother Hero. Until she meets his notorious brother . . .

Until they met each other.

Griffin Remmington, Lord Reading, is far from perfect - and he likes it thatway. How he spends his days is a mystery, but all of London knows he engages in the worst sorts of drunken revelry at night. Hero takes an instant dislike to him, and Griffin thinks that Hero, with her charities and faultless manners, is much too impeccable for society, let alone his brother. Yet their near-constant battle of wits soon sparks desire - desire that causes their carefully constructed worlds to come tumbling down. As Hero's wedding nears, and Griffin's enemies lay plans to end their dreams forever, can two imperfect people find perfect true love?

NOTORIOUS PLEASURES is book 2 of the Maiden Lane series.

I have to say that I love this cover, and yet I do have a question. I am wondering if you chose the title or if the publisher did. Was there an alternate title? I love the stories behind the titles of books. Thank you.

I am a follower and would love to be entered. Are those fireworks in the background of the cover? Don't think I have seen that before.

@PoCoKat, that's my question too! Seems a very unusual name for a girl.

@Teril, I'm with you on that. I also loved Wicked Intentions! For one, I wanted to know who the Ghost of St Giles is!

@Scorpio M, I have to admit, I'm also very intrigued by Silence's plight and I can't wait to read her book. I hope Elizabeth gives her a very happy ending with a deserving man, for she surely deserves it!

Hello, Elizabeth! Congrats on the success of your terrific new "Maiden Lane" series! I visited your website and read the excerpt. I love the sparks-fly relationship between "Lady Perfect" and "Lord Shameless"!

It's always a treat to navigate through your website. Like me, you are an archivist with a great love of history. Did you ever think of becoming a librarian or a historian?
