The Raving Readers decided to participate in J. Kaye's 100+ Reading Challenge, represented solely by me--Silver. *waving pom poms*
Basically, with this challenge, I just need to read 100 or more books in 2010, and these can be audio books, ebooks, dead tree books, graphic novels, etc, as long as they have an ISBN. Thus far, I was the 287th person to join. Cool that so many people take up this challenge. For more details on the challenge, head on over to J. Kaye's website.
I've never counted how many books I've read in a year, so I think this is gonna be fun.

Look forward to seeing your list. This should be fun!
Yes, I agree, Roni. The not fun part is me scrambling to make the 100 books. LOL I'd better start early--by Jan 1. :)
Hi Silver,
I usually read well over 100 books a year. I thought about joining the challenge, but it doesn't seem like much of a challenge if I read that many books anyway. But then again, now that I am working, I know I'm not reading as much as I did before :). So maybe this next year it might actually BE a challenge to read 100 books!
Welcome to the 100+ Reading Challenge. I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to 2010. I think it’s going to be an exciting year of reading!
Hi Amy, so join up! I'm also working plus there are other stuff that take up my time, so I'm sure I'm gonna find this a challenge just as you are. If you join and you find me lagging behind, I give you permission to kick my butt to get me going again. LOL And I'll do the same for you, if you want. ;)
Please don't mistake me, J. Kaye. I think it's gonna be fun! It's just that I don't know if I can make the 100 books, since I'm working, like Amy. But I guess the fun part is in trying. :) I'm actually looking forward to this because for the first time, I'll be counting the books I actually read and seeing just how many I can read in a year. Never had a gauge before.
I remember my first year. I was really surprised at how many I read. I had no idea I read so many books. I agree, it's cool keeping track.
