You know how you passed by a blog and you saw an interesting book that caught your attention and you said that it's going to go into your TBR pile but you forgot to note it down and now, you're frantically looking for it everywhere?
Yup, that's me. *sigh*
I can't even remember the blog I visited. Worse, I can't remember the title of the book. (Oh yeah, I've said it already, right?) I only remembered making the comment (in response to another comment), something like, "It's the 7th book? I should start to get busy." And even that is not verbatim. Maybe I should start to take memory pills? LOL
Anyway, I'm sure I'll come across the book in the blogs again sometime. Since it caught my eye, it's sure to be a book worthy of attention from other bloggers. At least, that's what I say to reassure myself, because this itchy feeling of something not right with my bookworld has lodged in my chest and until I find that book, I don't think I'll get any peace.
Have you ever had this feeling? And do you think I'm nuts?

See? I thought I had this all figured out...a few of those 5 X 7 legal pads and a spiral notebook...nope. Didn't help. I lose sheets from it or can't remember which of the 4 I've put what on. Good luck...hope you find the book title.
Thanks, Mystee. Glad to see I'm not the only one. LOL I'll be spending the weekend combing thru the blogs, I expect.
if it makes you feel any better -- you're not the only nut ;) just recently was looking at upcoming releases and thought "that sounds interesting, have to make a note to look into that one closer" but when I went back to make a mental note later, couldn't remember what book it was nor could i locate it again. very annoying.
@gamistress66 Yup, I know how annoying it can be. Esp when it disrupts my peace of mind. And you have this nagging feeling of something left undone/missing. I plan to search all the blogs I went to this weekend. Fortunately, I haven't deleted my cache yet (did I say it right, IT people?) Hopefully, I'll be able to find it.

I wish I had written things down..have I? ..No. I thought I could remember them, big mistake. Now I put them on my amazon wish-list
I wish you luck in seeing the book again. :) I've done this so many times and for me putting it in a notebook was a joke .Because you see I'd jot down so many when the time came I couldn't remember any specific book except I wanted to read all of them and could pin point which one I wanted to read first. Go figure. :)
Anyway, was it a Sherrilyn Kenyon, JR Ward book ? Nora Roberts ? I'm thinking books with so msny books to the series they write.

@Carol L Thanks for the suggestions, but no. If those were the authors, I'd have remembered.
I used to jot down TBR's in a notebook too, but like you, ah...which notebook? LOL So now, after this fiasco, I'm making an excel file, so that when I browse and I see a book I want, open excel file, write it in, save!
A spreadsheet is best. Of course, if you are in the habit of looking up books on multiple computers (work, home, laptop, etc.), you can save the list as a draft email in your online account (yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc.).

This is why I always keep a doc open to jot down any ebook/print titles that may catch my eye. After several occasions of beating my head against a wall for not writing down a title of something intriguing - did I come to this solution. So far it's been an effective way - if a little scatter-brained method of keeping track.
*hugs*

@Sheree What a good idea! But I'm good with excel since I blog hop at home. :)
@s7anna I'm now using excel file. I'm liable to lose the paper on which I jot down the titles. LOL
I hate when I do that. I even keep a clip board next to the computer to take notes of things like that and I still forget to write them down sometimes. Sometimes I get lucky and find it again, sometimes I don't. Iused to try to use my internet history to try to find them but I go to so many different site each day now, that would take too much of my time.
Glad you found the book hon...
